Bad water at Godrevy?

I surfed there just over a week ago and had the worse sinus/chest infection I've had in a long time, same is true for a number of others who surfed there around the same period. In-fact one guy had a small graze that within two days of surfing turned into a large angry swelling needing full-on antibiotics to get the infection under control. Something is up at the waters edge. The only way to confirm it's the water and get something done is to report it to South West water, who then have to test the water by law, so if it happens to you call them on the pollution emergency hotline.
