Shoulder to Shoulder
Everyone turned out this weekend, EVERYONE, there were faces about I recognised from way up country, in-fact I know I'm not the only one to have driven away from a spot because of the crowds, in search of something more "local". Mind the crowds gave me the diversion to go playing in shore breaks, and snap the odd random photo.
I'd be amazed if the residents in one or two spots don't start lobbying the council to bring in parking restrictions, I don't want them, but when there's as much carnage with the parking as there was in the water, somethings got to give.

Two spots which frustratingly only ever seem to break on weekends. One of them in particular seems to favour Sunday. Anyone else noticed this?

maybe sundays but surfed Ts earlier in week, shoulder high and clean and HP never surf it at weekends too little respect for fellow man, residents and fun.

also it was not so long ago that HP was a spot to keep quiet about, now the global arse-holes take surf lessons down there,'only in it for the money'

It's like SIB always works best around lunch time, and for some reason normally Monday to Friday. You've got to love mother nature toying with us, making it hard to hit a spot when its on. But that's what half of surfing is about, the chase...
