naked feet, bare sky, empty ocean

What a brilliant day, bare feet all day in and out the water, the feet are feeling a little sore as a result, they need to harden up again for the summer, time to break out the flip flops maybe, and ditch the shoes again. Sitting watching the day pass by in the baking sun, just no wind tucked up against the wall sipping down coffee and a cake post surf.

First paddle out 20 minutes of just me a seal and a dolphin jumping, followed by an hour of doing thumbs up with the other guy whos paddled out 500 yards away after each good wave we score. Slowly folks turn up and its become a very relaxed social...next surf, board swaps going down, and I discover the drive of a huge D-fin, and the fact that you cant flip it back over the top of a wave from the middle of the board, result, several swims to shore.

Perfect day, not a single picture taken to capture it, anyway I hope you scored one too.
