SAS and the BBC's Panorama programme need your help
Have you had any recent cases of the usual water ailments such as gastroentiritis belly upsets, ear nose or throat infections...preferably after surfing in or around Godrevy/Gwithian to Porthtowan, or for that matter litter issues?
If so drop me a line and I'll forward your cases on to Simon who's collecting information on beach pollution for SAS and the BBC Panorama programme. The projects linked with the recent 5 page article in the Sunday Times that highlighted blue flag beaches in the UK that have sewage and pollution problems, aswell as the usual litter.
The media attention will assist in ensuring the cleanliness of the ocean on our doorstep, and educate both locals and visitors how to keep our gloriuos beaches clean.

cheers for the mention Dave. It was gushing out of the CSO at Godrevy after the past few days heavy rain. Porthtowan overflow has not discharged but the litter from the stream, high-tide line and general beach-users has been shocking seeing as we are only just beginning the holiday season!
