Mark, I got up early to get a sunrise shot this morning to share on the blog and record the shortest day transition, but unfortunately overcast, doh! Like you I'm lov'in the fact that the days get longer from here, slowly to start, but with increasing speed the light creeps back.

Yeah, it's a lovely little winter milestone that always puts a little smile on my face. Enjoy Autumn, celebrate Christmas, endure January and February and by March you've just about got winter licked! But after the 21st of December you always feel like you're on the up.
