Glass

5am Super dawny this morning, first in, waist/chest high glass, and complete stillness, now I'm sitting at work, and I quickly scan my regular blogs I keep an eye on and this quote pops out from surfapig "i can just imagine this thing sliding across empty glassy point surf, that type of surf where you can hear every thing, and it sounds like nothing." Sums up this morning nicely, rock on.

That does look lush!! On another note, surfing Hendra last night and some inbred fishermen started mouthing of and using bad words to tell us to move, even chased me into sea with his day glow waders at one point, until his tiny malfunctioning brain told him that the further out you walk the deeper it gets!! He wasnt very articulate, to say the least and threatened to ''aim these ere leads at yer eds ya fukkas''. Maybe if he had vioced his concerns of accidently hitting us as we were where they wanted to fish, we could have reached an amicable agreement, but was not to be...So to that stink of fish man i would like to say...FUCK OFF RETARD....

also in early Dave saw your van. lovely and glassy.
The session was nearly ruined by a guy who totally did my head in before hand at 6 am. A board comes floating up to the beach and I see a guy swimming in, so i walk over to the board and pick it up for him. as he gets to the sand he shouts "Oy, put it down, now! So I let it go and he says sarcastically, "Thank You". I was really close in walking up to him to ask what is problem was, but hungover and at 6am it was just plain wrong.
What the fuck!!!is wrong with some peoples attitude. Either he thought I was about to steal it or it had been ingraining with specially surf powder from the bodhisattva of Hayle and any body touching it resulted in the inability to surf, or get a woodie ever again. (Which I could then understand his tone).
Ok, rant over and just remember, some people may be trying to help you out there!

To goatboy, they are not Fishermen, they are recreational anglers {fishermen have boats and quotas} and you'll get to surf Godgers with one of them tonight.

Was going to "do" the whole bit about how they spoiled my surf aswell and how legally they should wind in and move and how if they do hit you with a lead or foul hook you it would be a matter for the courts, but i lost interest. Quicker to tell you than type it.
