They are standard engineering samples used to test how quickly different sorts of rock or building materials are eroded in a real coastal environment, so that better plans can be made for changes in sea level. Ian

So, change of Government, change of meaning for the term "coastal retreat". Seems there is plenty of money for some kinds of "public" spending. Wow it really is like the 1980s all over again. Do these guys understand anything? anonymous
