KS has achieved so, so much both in and out of the water, he is a great role model to the groms and a true ambassador for surfing. Let's face it, he's a bit of a legend really. But, does it really matter that he hasn't recieved regognition from the masses?

I dont think so. He has the respect and admiration of pretty much everyone in the world of surfing. Surely that is what counts?
