Surf Hog - Who Do we think we Are?

Surf Hog was setup in mid November 2003 after many of us got fed up with seeing the same pro surfers, again and again, at the same foreign breaks in the mags (Sorry guys). We wanted more variety, and local waves, as most of us aren't lucky enough to head abroad 6 plus times a year to score warm watered wave heaven.

So with a primary aim to capture non-pro's surfing Cornish waves and inspire us by the level of non-pro surfing in Cornwall, www.surfhog.com was born. While it may not be living up to its grand aims, since November 2003 I've tried to add additional content, either directly or by linking to resources relevant to surfing and specifically surfing in Cornwall. I'm always up for hearing about what you think, or how I can improve things, so drop me a line if you think of something.

So still wondering why the name Surf Hog? Searching for inspiration I looked through some old pictures from Costa Rica and one shot said it all, waves and pigs together at last, check it out here.

Surfhog is provided free, if you like it, help support it by donating online towards the running of this service using the paypal button to the right.
