This really is a fantastic coffee table book - celebrating 40 years of surfer mag with a retrospective of historic photos, articles and interviews - Sam George threads together many of modern surfing most interesting events, characters and discoveries.

From interviews with a combatative Miki Dora to the discovery of Teahupoo, even squeezing in an article by our own national champion Rod Sumpter about an early mission on the severn bore.

Well worth a read.
